Description
This wire harness adapter allows for a plug-and-play connection when replacing the factory Base (Sound Package Plus), BOSE®, or Burmester® amplifier with an aftermarket version. This allows the existing body wiring for speakers and/or subwoofer to be retained.
Power wiring notes
The factory 12v power and ground wiring is not sufficient for most aftermarket amplifiers and adding separate power and ground wiring is recommended. The factory power/ground wiring can be used for accessories such as optical (MOST) adapters which have much lower power requirements.
